Disney has just shared a first look at the upcoming nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, 'The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic.'

The 25 minute show will be performed twice nightly from this weekend, throughout the summer.

I agree, the show was horrible. The only reason it was crowded last night was because 90% in attendance were Cast Members.

Say what you will about the show (and I'm in the "good riddance" column for the record) - at least Disney did SOMETHING for the summer season. Yes, you could argue they needed to because there was a whole marketing program designed around AK being open late and having a new nighttime show. But JB:AwM certainly wasn't a cheap show to operate given the large cast, and it was thrown together in about a month. So some credit where it's due. Was the show brilliant? No. But at least Disney put something out there. Now, bring on the real show!
