The pavilion has a great feel to it, with the itallian music in the air and the smell of great food. The showcase players if always fun to catch here, maybe you will be Romeo or Juliet? Stop in and find out. Ciao.
really good food, hot italian guys, great to use your italian skills. also great shops, and great place to relax!
There are some nice shops and restaurants, as well as theater performances througout the day. The living statues were hilarious when they were around. The Italian feel is done well, but a ride or a show would inprove the pavilion/
My in-laws, who were born and raised in Italy (Nonno - Sicily, Nonna - northern Italy), loved the theming. They also loved the Expresso - dark and strong.
That play you say you saw, Romeo and Edna, was done by the World Showcase Players. They are a troop of English stand-up comics who have been making me laugh until my sides hurt for almost ten years. Look for them on the Times Guide. They play in Italy and the UK and the time of writing. Italy itself is beautifully executed. If only the gondolas tied up by the Venetian bridge actually were able to be ridden as originally intended.
Great themed buildings in the area, and saw a play called Romeo and Edna ahahaha!!
A lovely area to stroll and some good eateries. I can\'t help think a better gondola experience would enhance the charm of this area though.
NICE TO WALK THROUGH AND ENJOY. PERFORMERS WHO SCHEULES POSTED OUT FRONT WERE GOOD,
This is a beautiful pavillion. The theming is incredable recreating Venice complete with San Marco Square and gondalas. The shopping is great too and there's usually wonderful entertainment such as the Masquarade. This pavillion is definatly worth spending some time at.
Italy is a lovely area - from the restaurants to the shops - and the live entertainment. I would highly consider strolling the area on a casual day at EPCOT!
