Disney has released the schedule for the opening night return of two Walt Disney World fireworks shows.

At Magic Kingdom, the eagerly awaited return of 'Happily Ever After' will take place at 9pm on April 3, 2023.

At EPCOT, 'EPCOT Forever' makes its return at 9pm on April 3 2023.

The updated 'Happily Ever After' will feature all-new projections down Main Street, U.S.A., using the new projectors installed for the 50th anniversary. The 50th anniversary show, "Disney Enchantment" will be offered through April 2 2023.

'EPCOT Forever' will return to Walt Disney World as an interim show on April 3 2023, following the final performance of Harmonious on April 2.

The first version of EPCOT Forever which debuted on October 1 2019 featured fireworks and stunt kites. and played until Walt Disney World's closure in 2020. The show resumed on July 1 2021, as fireworks shows returned to Walt Disney World after the pandemic shutdown. The second version dropped the stunt kites but added more fireworks in their place. Its last performance was September 28, 2021, making way for Harmonious on September 29.

Wanted to just point out that the show looked great tonight and it looks like the very top of the castle has brighter projections? Maybe I'm going crazy but it looked clearer and brighter at the top. Maybe they're updating the protections sections at a time? if you look at the left side it looks brighter too. That or I'm just going crazy.

Yeah. Will ops fund it well going forward, though? I don’t want to see empty character spots. It’s distracting on FoF.

What ever budget Starlight has.....that Budget is totally secure, correct?????

DisoneAug 28, 2024

The budget is about $4.63. But that is about $4 more than they previously had🙂

I wouldn't be surprised to see some other kind of drone show to come along. Or updates to Luminous that have had recent rumors, I also watched the Nighttime spectacular panel from d23 and Steve Davison heavily hinted at updates even though he said he's "not announcing anything".

Something else new or plussing to go along with Starlight next year would have been nice, but I’m guessing Starlight is taking every last cent of WDWs entertainment budget. Let’s hope it’s a large budget.

Aand it’s coming back.

Starship824Aug 28, 2024

In honor of the Hit Disney film "Wish" they've decided change the lyrics to "You are the magic" to "I are the magic". Enjoy!

And is it calling?

ToTBellHopAug 27, 2024

If there’s no DE in DAH then who are the Magic?!?!!

jrhwdwAug 27, 2024

Steve is expecting DE for DAH 2025.........He will look into it.

TTA94Aug 27, 2024

Maybe DE has been axed for 2025? It doesn’t appear to be included for 2025s DAH.

DL is all locals. They need a different show since they see it twice a week. But if magic kingdom doesn't have the fireworks show you saw in that blog six months ago when you were planning? Theyre gonna be maaaaaaaad

Oh man I Wish!!! Her and Eva Avla whom did "Your a Lifetime Journey" - Canada are both prominent vocalists for Epcot to me. Even Heather Headley which I'm surprised they haven't provided her something to sing for Epcot although she is was superb for DCA, or Lion King Animal Kingdom.. 🌟
