According to the Walt Disney World refurbishment calendar, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros at EPCOT is scheduled for a temporary closure beginning January 6, 2025.

Disney says that the boat ride is expected to reopen to guests on March 15, 2025.

Gran Fiesta Tour is a fan-favorite boat ride that follows Donald Duck, Panchito, and José Carioca on a whimsical journey through Mexico. Its vibrant scenes and catchy soundtrack make it a staple of the World Showcase.

I hope at least they restore some show quality during this, would it be so horrible have mist again in the tunnel?

A Brazil Pavilion with a ride based on Saludos Amigos would be so amazing.... and wonderful to have a new Pavilion...I am sure everyone would have preferred a new Brazil Pavilion with a ride waaayyy more than that festival center and the mess they made out of the central core...

Unlikely something that was dictated from above. More than likely just some cast members that wanted a head start on their closing responsibilities so they could go home sooner.

Someone’s been getting the memo to cut payroll hours to the bone.

We had to beg Remy's to let us in to use our DAS because we were 2 minutes late and then missed the whole fireworks. It was water under the bridge... but I'm like come on Disney should be better than Friendlys (where I worked as a teen and we'd try to close up 15 mins early).

It was poor show. That should never be done until the attraction is closed for the night.

Ya this was just watching them pick up trash with a picker so not fascinating to watch. It was odd.

Oh no this was the end of the night and they were literally using a trash picker and methodically going through every row of every boat. They could see us too but just avoided making eye contact. The park wasn't closed yet though so it just felt like poor show, like they wanted to close up early.

Sounds like someone tossed their churros in front of you.

We experienced something similar at Indy at DL. We got in line shortly before the park closed and were on the second to last RV with guests. When we got close to unload, they started securing each vehicle for the night – buckling the seatbelts, checking each of the pockets, etc. Each vehicle took like 2-3 mins and there were like 3 or 4 ahead of us. At this time they were also only running one side when we got on and got off, so made the whole process even slower. Probably in total waited about 10 mins after the last show scene. It didn't bother me much and was a unique thing to see the CMs do their closing routines, but it's interesting they didn't wait until all guests were off. Guess they didn't want to recycle the RVs through the ride and wait for them to come back around? However at Dinosaur when I get on at park close, they don't start securing the RVs until guests are completely off. So it's a different procedure for essentially the same ride system at either coast.

We had the weirdest experience here last trip. We were waiting to exit the ride like 6 or 7 boats back and the workers decided to clean all the boats for the night ahead of us before letting us exit. They just left us sitting there for like 30 minutes. I was soooooo annoyed.

I think La Cava De Tequila has been the ONLY Gran Fiesta in that pavilion for YEARS!....LOL
