Construction walls are already up around the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The Shootin’ Arcade closed last night to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club lounge.

The construction walls span the entire front of the arcade, beginning near the DVC kiosk and extending to the Frontier Trading Post store.

I think he deserves a lounge named after him, too!

Only thing I thought of was Bill McKim from TT. 😂

Please reopen the candy shop down the road and bring some life to the area

I haven’t been following along recently, and am just now learning this space has a name now. So I am guessing the ‘McKim’ in ‘McKim’s Mile House’ is a tribute to the great Sam McKim…? First thing I thought of upon hearing the name for this lounge. For those not familiar with this gent, take a look at this article - https://d23.com/walt-disney-legend/sam-mckim/ -

You are now permanently banned from the Dining Plan...

Maybe, but in 9 years we've only lost about 10 points total, but not because we let them lapse, we thought we had banked them but didn't. HOWEVER, we got them back calling customer service (8 months after the fact).

I find the placement of the toilet above the refrigerator to be very convenient.

I think ya bought too much… But resells were the right play 👍🏻

We bought in 2016 two SS resales and one Poly resale, then a 25 point direct sale later from Poly. Have no clue what the minimums are now.

Both of which, ironically, were larger accommodations than a Duo Studio at Island Tower.

I used 100 points to access a freshly-cleaned handicapped-accessible stall in MK. It was that or a week in Boulder Ridge and I stand by my choice.

…oh that’s coming Or maybe they’ll settle for cash? Since the restaurants are typically half empty🤔

How many points do you have to use to enter the lounge? I'm guessing it's on the same level as a week at one of the Poly bungalows?
