Disney has captured France in all it's romantic splendor. From the old style buildings to the eiffel tower replica in the back it's wonderful. Be sure to stop in at the pastry shop and get some authentic treats before illuminations. If your old enough, get a grand marnier slush at the cart towards the front.
the crepes are awesome, the shopping and coffee is awesome, the rest. is good. great place to relax and people watch
France has some of the best dessert shops in WDW. French cuisine is famous for being amazing and lives up to the hype. There is a mini Eiffel Tower to add the effect. The France show gives a good feel of the country and is nice but not spectacular. The atmosphere of France is great.
Yes, those artist easels by the lagoon aren't just for show; real live French artists will draw your portrait or caricature in pastels for $32. (Resort IDs not accepted.) It's worth the cost! These are pros who capture anybody beautifully while not altering there appearance. This was actually a highlight of the trip and it was a great vacation. Ask for their advice on framing - they're experts. The rest of France is charming. The Patisserie has many mouth-watering but light desserts and the atmosphere is a romantic's dream. Only place for the little guys to meet Belle and Beast.
The food was excellent, and I had creme brulee for the first time ever lol. The wine wasn't that bad either. Loved the Eiffel tower in the background.
A well designed area with some good places to eat, great crepes and some fun can-can at times! a great spot to watch the evening show too.
the food alone is worth it (I have never met a pastrie that i didn't like.......) and the entertainment is amusing. the wine tasting is fab, and you can buy french wine in the stores. the show is ok, but the shopping is the fun part.
Not only is this pavilion gorgeous, but it features excellent entertainment, too. My entire family (wife, young sons, and I) were mesmerized by the Living Statues and by the Clown/Mime/Street Performer/Whatever he is. We also bumped into Beast and Belle, who were very gracious with their time.
ANOTHER COUNTRY FILM ABOUT HOW GREAT IT IS. WORTH SEEING ONCE.
My favorite pavillion in all of EPCOT, France whisks you to the belle epoque of French history. The pavillion's architecture and gardens are beautiful and when combined with shops, restaurants, and the wonderful entertainment performed here (especially the Living Statues) make you feel as if you are almost are in Paris.
We are transported to Paris at this pavilion...the film is MAGNIFICENT! The area...MAGNIFICENT...especially in the evening...what a romantic and lovely place to shop around...or have a nice stroll!
