Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom will move to one performance per day starting in October 2022.

Currently performed twice per day, at 12pm and 3pm, Festival of Fantasy will move to a single performance at 3pm from October 9 2022.

The single 3pm parade performance is the typical schedule, but since its return to Magic kingdom in February 2022, there have been two showings each day.

Also, effective October 9, Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade gains an 11:55am performance.

Post-NYE crowds have become ridicoulous the past few years. Sandwiched between the holidays and the RunDisney events. While people expect the parks to "die down" after NYE, crowds stick around for a while (especially when APs are unblocked next week).

Not since its come back in 2022. Actually there was like a one-off night when they did the normal 2 night showings plus an additional AP-exclusive showing during the week it came back in November 2022.

Wow.... Been awhile since I've seen a " three a day " for WDW. I did notice three monorails running on the Epcot line 2 days ago. That was neat. What next. All three steam engines running on the Walt Disney World railroad? :).

According to the Walt Disney World website, Disney has added an additional performance of Fantasmic! at 6pm on January 2 and 3, for a total of 3 showings: 6pm, 8pm and 9:30pm:

I think they are perfectly content with its current state. Diehards are frustrated, but the vast majority of visitors enjoy the parade and think it's great. I wouldn't expect much changes or upgrades to it until it's retired at the end of the decade when Villains Land opens.

I think the best bet if they ever bring it back to a full cast would be summer with Starlight but I'm doubtful anything will happen.

I saw an update in this thread and thought it meant it was brought back to it's former glory. Silly me, should've known that wasn't gonna happen, especially since it's only 11:30 AM and the parade hasn't even happened yet today lol

Disney has added showtimes for Festival of Fantasy through February 1: January 1 through 13: 12pm and 3pm January 14 through Feb 1: 3pm

WDW has been refurbishing their pyro barges the past month, so doubt it. Probably conflicted with the DL incidient recently.
