Beast's Castle can now be seen rising over the top of the Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom. So far, all of the visible work on the expansion has been structural steel and infrastructure, but today that changed with the first piece of detailed theming to be on display. A good portion of Beast's Castle can now be seen from most of Fantasyland, as it sits perched on-top of what will become a rocky mountain side. A lot of the steel under-pinnings of the rock-work structure are already in place beneath the castle.
It's obviously very much still a work in progress, but there is already a considerable amount of detail to be seen here. Head to the photos below and click the thumbnails for a closer look. There is also a closeup of the concept art for this area to give an idea of where this is heading when it's completed.
