Walt Disney World will welcome back major entertainment in 2022 at Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

At Disney's Hollywoods Studios, Fantasmic! will make its return following extensive refurbishments to the theater.

Festival of Fantasy parade will return to Magic Kingdom, along with a 50th anniversary edition of Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire on the castle stage.

No specific dates beyond 2022 have been announced, although our sources suggest some will return early in the new year.

There must be something going on with it for a while even in the summer quite a few times when I went to see Fantasmic the dragon would be missing.

Post-NYE crowds have become ridicoulous the past few years. Sandwiched between the holidays and the RunDisney events. While people expect the parks to "die down" after NYE, crowds stick around for a while (especially when APs are unblocked next week).

Not since its come back in 2022. Actually there was like a one-off night when they did the normal 2 night showings plus an additional AP-exclusive showing during the week it came back in November 2022.
