Epcot Future World West Demolition and Construction Walls - December 2019
Posted: Tuesday November 26, 2019 10:58am ET by WDWMAGIC Staff

Demolition at the center of Epcot has now reached the core of Communicore West.

The Fountain View building, most recently home to Starbucks, has been completely removed, exposing the shell of the Character Spot interior.

At the rear of the building, more walls are up ahead of continued demolition work.

The conclusion of Food and Wine Festival allows a widening of the demolition area and more construction walls.

Elsewhere in Future World West, machinery is moving earth between The Land and Imagination.

It was always showcased in the concept art as for Festival of The Arts...

It’s temporary but it looks well-done. What comes next is the bigger question.

Finally, this space has something worthwhile to see! Up to this point, this inside space has been an embarrassment of sorts.

Isn't it ironic that now "We've Just Begun to Dream" 🎶 not about the future of possibilities in 1982 but instead to Dream about how Epcot once was!

A beautiful tribute. RIP the “real” EPCOT.

An Arts festival would have been an ideal time to cover the walls in tapestries...

I dunno, seemed to work well for the Disneyland Haunted Mansion gift shop, lol. (no retort needed as this comment is in jest)
