Disney is casting for new atmosphere entertainment acts at EPCOT to debut in 2025. The casting call seeks "fun-filled entertainment for diverse audiences of different ages, including families with children." This opportunity is for performers local to Central Florida, and submissions are now being accepted online.

Casting Details

Disney is seeking a diverse range of performers for atmosphere entertainment at EPCOT, located at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL. The call for submissions is open until November 27, 2024, with acts needing to submit their details by 11:30 PM EST. The entertainment categories Disney is interested in include magicians, jugglers, physical comedians, performance artists, visual acts, solo or duo dance teams, acts involving technology, and other unique multi-disciplinary acts. Each act can include up to five performers.

Notably, Disney has clarified that they are not looking for musical acts, fire acts, balloon artists, animal acts, face painters, or caricature artists for this particular call. All applicants must be based in the Central Florida area, as this is a local opportunity. Performers will be contracted on an "as needed" basis, with no guaranteed hours.

How to Apply

Interested performers should send submission links to WDPR.Disney.Audition.Submissions@disney.com with "WDW Variety Act Submission" in the subject line by November 27 to be considered.

Selected acts may be called for in-person callbacks, which will take place on January 24, 2024, in Orlando. Performers will only be contacted if they are being considered for a callback.

Mo Rockin with the talented belly dancer brought smiles to many faces!

I’d rather Disney produce this kind of stuff in house. When they go to outside acts, even though very talented, you can tell it’s lacking a bit of polish and quality

I was there, too! I walked up to one of the muckety-mucks that was watching and said, “Take a look around. You’ll never see a crowd like this again. Big mistake getting rid of Off Kilter!” He just kind of stared through me. Coincidently, we happened to be at what ended up being their last public concert before they disbanded.

I was at Epcot for OKs last night. I haven't seen so much love for a Disney attraction since they closed the AC.

If superpowers applied in real life, this would be a good use of the Blues Brothers “We are getting the band back together.” superpower.

Epcot World Showcase Players were always a hoot.

I understand that sadly, Off-Kilter no longer exists.

We were just talking about this yesterday- the streetmosphere that added lots to our vacations We always stopped at every show while strolling around Epcot, and HS. Meets and greets are for a whole different crowd- (we don’t partake) BUT someone juggling, climbing chairs, acrobatting, etc- it only adds! Bring it on

If they hire me, I'll sit out front of the Canada pavilion and drink beer and eat Coffee Crisp chocolate bars and ketchup chips. Give everyone a nice slice of Canadian culture.

Very sadly, the disbanded. 😭

Trolley Dancers!!!!!

Typically, these are budgeted into individual parks financials, not the overall company of WDW. EPCOT receiving entertainment should have no baring on Hollywood Studios receiving (or not receiving) more entertainment.

World Showplace Players as well!

Hey WDW management, how about you bring back Citizens of Hollywood at DHS? It sure as hell has more capacity issues than Epcot! Guarantee it would be 10 times more popular than any new act at Epcot.
