Maroon 5 to Headline Private Event at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World will close at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, due to a private event that will include a performance by Maroon 5.

Work is currently underway installing a large stage setup on Hollywood Blvd in front of The Chinese Theatre.

The early close is to accommodate a park buyout for SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando. The private event will give attendees access to the park's attractions and a Maroon 5 concert from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

Disney's Hollywood Studios will open for day guests at 9:00 am, with Early Entry for resort hotel guests at 8:30 am.

and it was pretty bad there today with that going on, we couldn't wait to get out. The blaring dj it was like a rave. really destroys the parks atmosphere. but they don't care anymore. nor do guests probably.

Hopefully the event goes on without a hitch. Back in the day a convention at MGM paid LL Cool J to perform in front of GMR. The rapper walked off stage and never returned after 2 songs because he was unhappy with the sound system.

The stage is quite large and blocks some of the projectors for Disney Movie Magic and Wonderful World of Animation, so the shows are canceled through June 6th.
