Guest Parking and Entrances

The only parking option will be self-park in the Orange and Lime garages; all surface parking lots will be closed.

Entry to Disney Springs will be available only via Orange and Lime garages, Hotel Plaza Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge and the rideshare location.

Temperature Screening

All Guests are required to undergo temperature screenings upon arrival at Disney Springs.

Guests will undergo temperature screening in these locations: the second-floor exits of Orange and Lime parking garages and the Marketplace Entrance (to serve Guests from the Hotel Plaza Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge and the rideshare drop-off lot). Anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those with temperatures above 100.4 will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

Masks

All Guests ages 3 and up, Cast Members and Operating Participant employees are required to wear an appropriate face covering. Guests must bring their own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining.

Physical Barriers

Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around cash registers or at Guest Relations, for example, to help ensure proper distances between people.

Cashless Transactions

Guests are advised to use cashless or contactless payment options, such as credit cards, debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Rewards® Redemption Cards and mobile wallets—including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Guests may purchase a Disney Gift Card at select Merchandise locations and Welcome Center (Guest Relations) to pay without cash.

Physical Distancing and Capacity Measures

The number of guests will be restricted. Once the parking garages are full, Guests will no longer be able to park and visit Disney Springs.

Dining reservations will not guarantee entry if the parking lots are full. Any cancellation fees will be waived.

Directional signage has been installed to assist Guests to responsibly move throughout the property. Additionally, ground markings will help promote proper physical distancing when queuing is needed at a location.

Cast Members will be available to engage with Guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in common areas and queues.

Disney Springs will open with hand sanitizer and hand-washing locations, and Guests are highly encouraged to use these while visiting.

Are there certain times when they do security at Disney Springs or something? We were dropped off via bus there from our resort a few weeks back and did not have to go through any security other than a guy with a dog (they were off to the side of the entrance, not explicitly stopping guests). I remember going through the security there when arriving via bus before on past trips, but that was later in the day I suppose.

The footprint has shrunk a little and there’s much less extended queue space, but it still knocks out a few rows of parking. Not sure what they can do about that really, especially in Lime there’s just no space for a checkpoint otherwise.

FTFY!

With temp checks gone, have they found a better way to streamline the security in the garages yet? It was taking up far too many spaces with the layout before.

The "front porch" live music is back, but not inside yet.

Zummi GummiJun 14, 2021

Has live entertainment returned to the performance space inside of House of Blues yet? That and Cirque dumping large groups of people outside who were likely hungry and thirsty was a big driver of places staying open later.

Guessing so... No one standing outside of Enzo's saying, "I demand to be served" at 2am... :)

Little Green MenJun 13, 2021

More like demand is down at this time

I'm usually only there at night. I've eaten QS dinner and then had gelato or something for dessert sometime between 9-10 several times. It's better food than eating anywhere in the parks.

Still coming.

GimpYancIentJun 13, 2021

What's up with Cirque Du Soleil? It was an item now the silence is defining.

Covid only spreads between 11:30 pm and dawn? Interesting.

Whatever time DS closes is purely a business decision made by Disney. Closing DS early reduces costs for Disney, like so many other cost cutting decisions Disney made in the name of COVID. You do have to wonder, DS is a glorified mall with tenants. I have to imagine in the lease DS must agree to be open some minimum hours, but who knows, perhaps the lease contracts are heavily one sided to Disney because location, location, location..
