Disney has posted the role of Vice President Disney Springs on its recruitment website.
We reported yesterday that current Disney Springs VP Keith Bradford is leaving the company, and Disney has already begun looking for the replacement.
VP positions are typically filled from inside the company, so it is interesting that this time Disney is also looking at recruiting from the wider workforce.
The role is described as:
We are seeking a seasoned executive with significant retail and dining experience to serve as Vice President of Disney Springs. The Vice President will define, drive and deliver the strategy for every aspect of the business to continually to deliver world class experiences to our guests while achieving our financial goals. Foundational to the Vice President’s success is the ability to effectively manage costs, and with a degree of specificity, understand the economic, environmental and competitive factors, including their impacts on key business drivers. The Vice President will lead a team of 11,000 cast members and operating participants and will report to the SVP, Operations - Walt Disney World Resort.
