From November 8 through December 24, 2024, Santa will be greeting guests at Santa's Marketplace, hosted by Bauducco, near Disney's Pin Traders in the former Star Wars Trader gift shop.

For 2024, the popular meet-and-greet returns with a virtual queue setup, making it easier to plan your visit without waiting in a traditional line.

Here's what you need to know about meeting Santa at Disney Springs:

Entering the Virtual Queue

To secure a spot, use the My Disney Experience app to join the virtual queue once you're on-site at Disney Springs. Openings for the virtual queue will be available at five times throughout the day:

  • 9:00 AM
  • 11:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM

This setup allows multiple chances to join the queue, so you can plan around your day at Disney Springs.

Important Details for Meeting Santa

  • Location Required: You must be physically present at Disney Springs to join the virtual queue.
  • One-Party Entry: Only one person in your group needs to request entry for your entire party. When your spot is ready, you'll receive a push notification with a link to your digital entry code.
  • Accessing Your Code: If you can't find your entry code, tap the three-line "hamburger" menu in the app and go to "Virtual Queues."
  • Party Size Limit: Each group can have up to 10 people.
  • No Standby Line: This meet-and-greet is virtual queue only, meaning there won't be a standby line available.
  • Availability: The virtual queue is subject to availability, so plan to join as early as possible to secure your spot.

You know, looking back on it, Disney always had a sort of certain charm in the 70's and early 80's with its notable C List celebrities they'd get to appear in TV specials like this. And with the odd exception of Elton John, that is definitely a C List. But somehow, when it's actually happening, the C Listers of today aren't as charming at the time as they'll be 20 years from now. Also, I'm pretty sure a couple names on that guest list are going to be mentioned in the upcoming Sean Combs trial.

I looked at the 17th; but when I compare the cost for two of us to attend vs. the price of a Pixie Pass, it gives me pause. It’s just a few dollars less. We are going 12/16-12/18 and 12/24-12/26. The price of single day tickets to go on Christmas are also almost as much as a Pixie Pass, and you can’t buy tickets for Christmas and then apply them to an AP upgrade that would black out Christmas. So it’s looking like a Disney Springs or resort holiday unless I break down at the last minute.

What’s baffling to me is this bothering you. You act like it’s important. It’s trivial. Now you’re getting it.

It doesn't seem like Disney is decorating any F&B locations anymore. I have noticed that all decor has returned to Merchandise locations though.

It's funny that after Disney left to create their own cruise line Warner Bros took over the Big Red Boat..

The first "Disney Cruise Line", Premier Cruise Line. I did a high school senior cruise with them from Port Canaveral to Nassau and back.

Seth still gets paid by Disney for Family Guy (and American Dad too - since Disney produces both). And technically The Orville isn'r dead 100% either... It is a sad guest list though, that I agree.

Ugh...That guest list is sad...And they must have given Seth McFarlane a decent paycheck just to come down since he doesn't want any part to be with Disney any more and stick with Universal Studios.. Better off sticking to the classics..The Better ones.
