Blizzard Beach to close for two days as cooler temperatures arrive

Disney's Blizzard Beach will be closed January 10 - 11, 2024, due to low temperatures arriving in Central Florida from today's cold front.

Blizzard Beach will be closed for 2 days this week

Lows are forecasted to be in the 50's, rising only to highs in the low 60's. Blizzard Beach is currently scheduled to reopen on January 12, 2024.

Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed for refurbishment.

I know they aren't keen to announce a days-long temperature-related closure at the start of the week, but the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday (50-51F for high temps and at least a 50% chance of rain both days) in the Orlando area suggest BB will be closed those days as well. And Friday is currently forecast to have a high temp of 53F.

Update - with forecasted temperatures now in the low 70s on Sunday, January 5, Disney has reversed course and Blizzard Beach is expected be open normal hours.
