Guests can explore a quieter side of Walt Disney World Resort with activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, carriage rides, boating or hiking on nature trails. There’s even an old-fashioned marshmallow roast and campfire sing-along, followed by a classic Disney movie under the stars every night.

Tent-pop-up campsite - includes water and electricity. For use with tents, pop-up vans or campers, motorhomes can not be accomodated on this type of site. Tent/pop-up sites are located in loops 1500 and 2000. Pets are not allowed.

Refillable Mugs: Disney Rapid Fill Drink Mugs are sold at Food Courts and Quick Service Restaurants at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and can be used at any resort self-service beverage location. The prices of the mugs vary based on Guest preference for number of days for refills. A day consists of one calendar day, and additional days are consecutive. Bike Rentals
Bike Barn (8am-6pm)- located in the Meadows Recreation area
Cane Pole Fishing
Catch and release fishing, rentals available from the Bike Barn. 30 minutes $4, whole day $8.86. Bait available for purchase. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guest age 18 or older.
Fort Wilderness Marina
(10am-5pm) pontoon boats, sea racers, kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats available for rent
Rides
Tri-Circle D Ranch: 45 Minute guided trail rides (8:30am, 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm) Check in is at the Fort Wilderness kennel (near the main parking lot) 30 minutes prior to ride time. Reservations are recommended (407 wdw-play). Credit card information is required to secure reservation at the time of booking. Riders must be 9 years of age or older and at least 48 inches tall, maximum weight 250 pounds. No camers or video equipment is allowed. $42 per person
Pony rides (10am-5pm)- walk up only, parents may walk with the pony while children ride. Children must be at least 2 years old and no more than 80 pounds. $4 per child cash only
Wagon Rides (7pm, 9:30pm): 45 Minute old fashioned wagon ride departs from in front of Pinoeer Hall. Rides offered on a first come first served basis. Wagons hold 30-35 people. Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Adult- $8.00 Child- $5.00
Wagons may be rented out for groups, reservations must be made in advance- $300 an hour
Carriage Rides (5:30pm-10pm): located at the main entrance near Crockett's Tavern- 30 minute carriage rides through Fort Wilderness $35 per person ages 3+. Carriages hold 4 adults or 3 adults and 2 small children. Carriage rides are weather dependant and reservations are recommended and can be made 90 days in advance. The carriages are not wheelchair accessible. Credit cards are not accepted for walkups. There is a fee for no shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Wilderness Back Trail Adventure (8:30am, 11:30am): 2 Hour beginner (1 hour indoor safety training, 1 hour outdoors) Segway tour through Fort Wilderness. Guests attending the 8:30am tour must provide their own transportation- there is no Disney transport at that time. Full payment is required at the time of booking and cancellation less than 48 hours in advance or no shows will be charged the full tour amount. Guests must have photo ID and be at least 16 years of age
Archery
(2:45pm-4:15pm): Guided archery experience for guest 6 years of age and older. Credit card information is due at the time of booking. This experience may be booked up to 90 days in advance by calling (407)wdw-play. Walk ups are accepted. Located in the Meadow Recreation area.
Basketball Courts
In the following locations: 200 loop, 300 loop, 900 loop, 1300 loop, 1400 loop, between the 1800 and 1900 loops. Basketballs are available at the courts
Golf Cart Rentals
Carts can be reserved up to one year in advance, remaining carts will be available for rental at the Bike Barn on a first come first served basis. Rental period- 1pm-11am the following day. Prices: per day $57.51 per week $402.57 Drivers must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. Guests must be at least 18 years old to rent a golf cart.
